Eclectic scores
  The eclectic score is the accumulation of the best performance on each hole throughout the year. At the end of the year, 25% of the players lowest handicap of the year will be taken off the accumulative eclectic score, i.e a 16 handicap will have 4 shots taken off their eclectic round. It’s plain to see the particular holes that are the trickiest. Altogether, by the end of the year, you should have achieved the round of your dreams. It would be nice if one could have a round like this all in the same day! There is a fabulous prize awaiting the winner of this competition. Player of the year
 Each Tuesday that a member plays with the society, his position in the competition is recorded and scored. A win will get 30 points, 2nd gets 29, 3rd gets 28 etc. The best ten finishes of the year will be added together to find the winner. A trophy, free membership for the year and a fantastic prize are on offer to the player of the year
